Church Choir

We are proud of our worshiping heritage transmitted down the generations through the worship of our ancestors. The West Syrian form of worship, language, and music was introduced to the Church in the latter half of the nineteenth century, Liturgical music was passed down through the generations through oral tradition. In addition, many Malpans (Teachers) added their own style of singing to their teachings, further increasing the number of variations. Today we have a smooth functioning Church choir. The liturgical singing in the church making our worship spiritually enriching, musical and euphonious.
